F1 in Schools is the only global multidisciplinary challenge, currently live in 40 countries.

F1 in Schools India is the second installment of annual STEM (Science-Technology-Engineering-Mathematics) challenge in India. Spanning age ranges from 9 to 19, its main objective is to help change the perceptions of science, technology, engineering and math by creating a fun and exciting learning environment for young people to develop an informed view about careers in engineering, Formula 1, science, marketing and technology. F1 in Schools is the only truly global educational program that raises awareness of Formula 1 and STEM among students and school children in every region, in every country, on every continent.

F1 in Schools Ltd. is a non-profit company established with committed partners to provide an exciting yet challenging educational experience through the magnetic appeal of Formula 1. In this challenge, students aged 9-19 deploy CAD/CAM software (Computer Aided Design and Manufacturing) to design, analyse, manufacture, test and then race miniature air powered cars from the F1 model block. Teams must raise sponsorship and manage budgets to fund research, travel and manufacture. The challenge inspires students to use IT to learn about physics, aerodynamics, design, manufacture, branding, graphics, marketing, leadership, team work, media skills and financial strategy and apply them in a practical, imaginative, exciting and competitive way.
